British tea in New York City

Tea & Sympathy is what it sounds like. Serious Eats reviews here what British food looks like from the other side of the pond, if you’re a vegetarian.

And here’s their own website:  http://www.teaandsympathynewyork.com/home.php

  1. That’s some fancy teapot! Is it yours?

    • No, I nicked (well, linked to) a pic on their website; I figure if they’re trying to sell them they won’t mind… Yes, I imagine white tea with rose petals might have an English ring to it – like a print off a chintz sofa cover? – but I agree… unlikely to find it here.

  2. Ah I see – I wonder what their scones were like? I wouldn’t think white tea with rose petals was the standard cuppa here but times can change 😉
