I’m experimenting with a new mechanism for posting food pics… but this is also an opportunity to check in and say a bit about what I’ve been up to lately. Mostly, despite its effect on how my clothes fit, I’ve been playing with bread-baking, and sourdough bread-baking in particular, per Dan Lepard’s marvelous book, The Handmade Loaf. Dan is a great mentor and one of my new Twitter friends. A bunch of Dan’s tweeps passed the late summer afternoon yesterday sharing reveries of fruit tarts.
